There is a distinct, welcoming warmth to Tim Ostdiek’s music. His blend of big-hearted, feel-good folk and thoughtful storytelling makes a room feel instantly familiar. Carrying his Nebraska roots into the vibrant acoustic scene of Colorado’s Front Range, Ostdiek has a rare gift for writing playful yet purposeful songs. He balances a lighthearted spirit with emotional depth, never shying away from the deep and heavy, but always sending audiences out a little brighter than they came in. His engaging lyricism has resonated on a national level, earning him accolades as a finalist in the Telluride Troubadour and Folks Fest Songwriter Showcases, along with a feature on PBS's Roadtrip Nation.

Whether performing on a festival stage, in a listening room, or at an intimate house concert, Ostdiek’s primary focus is always real human connection. Beyond his solo work and peforming intimate sets, listeners can catch Tim sharing easygoing harmonies and an upbeat vibe as the acoustic folk duo alongside his wife Jenny as Tim & Jenny Ostdiek, or bringing high-energy arrangements with The Ostdiek Band.
His most recent concept album, The Lost Days, showcases this rich range of vulnerability and musicianship, with new music currently in production. Deeply rooted in his home base of Longmont, Colorado, Ostdiek is dedicated to lifting up the local acoustic music scene through hosting community events and fostering local creative culture. He also explores the craft and passion behind songwriting as the host of the podcast Songs Off The Vine, continually building spaces where songs and stories bring people together.
